Hello, due date. I can tell you with the utmost certainty that the waiting is a lot harder the second time around.
Full term. Hospital bag is packed. Bring it on.
So far, riding out week 34-35 has been akin crawling toward a gaping maw filled with heartburn, hip pain, a hundred trips to the bathroom to void a thimble-worth of pee, hemorrhoids, and irritability.
Christmas has come and gone, and I finally feel like I can devote time to normal life again, which is to say that all of the gifts have been exchanged, the cookies have been baked, and the parties have been attended, so I don't feel guilty about sitting down and writing.
I hadn't asked myself about my riding safety equipment in a long time.
I hate to admit it, but I forget that I'm 23 weeks pregnant.
I turned 31! I had a cupcake! It was delicious.
More proof that I’ll always have the refined humor of a 9 year old boy.
